Webinars

A Webinar is short for Web-based seminar, which is a presentation, lecture, or workshop transmitted over the Web. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements — the ability to give, receive, and discuss information. Participants will receive log-in information by e-mail prior to the seminar. You will need computer access to view the instructor's PowerPoint slides and telephone access to listen to audio during the seminar.

Do you want to learn more about strengths in leadership, residence life, advising, or other areas? Join Gallup and selected experts for a series of Webinars designed to help you learn more about strengths-based development and creating a strengths-based campus. Learn more about how to best use StrengthsQuest and strengths philosophy for your own personal, student, and campus development.

Best Practice Series

Staff and Faculty Development — Exploring Themes: This Webinar will focus on faculty and staff development through small group discussions. “Theme for a Day” gatherings provide an opportunity to learn about each individual theme separately in a more personal and intentional way by meeting and affirming others who share a particular theme. Participants are guided through a learning experience that encourages them to share how that theme interacts with other top themes, what the shadow side of this theme looks like, and how they apply the theme to life and work situations. Facilitator notes and a theme discussion guide will be provided to you with this session.
